When Life Hands You Lemons, Make A Snowman
Since we had a giant spring snowstorm that probably killed my beautiful Japanese Momo tree, I decided to fill the kids up with chocolate pancakes and take them outside to build a snowman. I am rarely (read: never) successful with snow sculpture due to my extreme cold intolerance. However, today seemed much more pleasant, so we managed a 5-footer. But I guess pleasant is relative-- I'll let the pictures tell the story from here:
What a happy snowman!

Complete with jaunty cap...
Would you care for a chocolate pancake, Snowman?
But, wait--

Something's not quite right here...

Now our snowman looks a bit like a frozen Zombie!

I guess there was some magic in that hat!

No, Snowman, you may not come in!

You're really starting to freak me out...

It's no use.

If you think it's warm out there, buddy, you'd hate it in here!

Things aren't looking too good...

It is the end of March, after all.

Don't you think you're being a bit dramatic?

Hmmm... Maybe not.
