Dream On, Kara-- You're Crazy!

Alright, folks, I wasn't even going to write tonight (ultra tired), but the ultimate offense was committed on "American Idol" tonight, and I can't just sleep on it.  I'll have nightmares.  I must purge my brain, but it's gotta be quick so I can get some shuteye.
You all know the drill:  I don't use this space as an outlet for my opinion of the singers themselves.  I instead pick on the judges.  It's not really my fault; they bait me every week!  It is a wonder I have written about them as little as I have this season!  Usually it is my husband who needs an airsickness bag every time Kara opens her mouth.  Tonight it was me.  I was in utter shock.  After Danny Gokey was done with "Dream On" by Aerosmith, Kara's critique was that she thought Aerosmith was a good choice, but she would have rather seen him do early Aerosmith-- "like Cryin' or CrazyAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!  What are this woman's music credentials?!?!?!  She is 38 years old.  She's been in the music business for more than a decade.  She should know that both Cryin' and Crazy were on the same album, Get A Grip, released in 1993;  Dream On predates their release by 20 years!  It was on Aerosmith-- their frakkin' debut album in 1973!!!  Sure, I had to Google a bit for release dates, but I sure knew which songs were new when I was in junior high and which one came out before I was even born!  I can't believe that someone who makes their living in the music industry and currently gets paid to yap about these specific songs could make a mistake like that.  She didn't even stutter or backpedal.  She just likes the sound of her own voice so much that she doesn't even care what comes out of her mouth.  This was even worse than when she said it was like "Studio 57" after Adam Lambert sang a while back.  I just laughed at her outright idiocy then, but this was inexcusable.  And not at all funny.  I think she needs to issue a public apology.
