Well, folks, apparently El Niño is back: http://www.ky3.com/news/local/50368897.html.  Does anyone else remember about a decade ago when any change in weather-- even a seasonally common one-- was "due to the effects of El Niño"?  Or anything else for that matter:  "Has Chick-fil-A always been closed on Sundays?  Must be because of El Niño."  "I don't know what possessed me to leave the milk on the kitchen counter all night.  It's gotta be El Niño."  "I just saw Susie streaking toward The Quad.  She said that dastardly Little Boy made her do it.  El Niño es loco!"
